Maris Toalson

Hello! My name is Maris Toalson. I studied journalism, political science and science communication and earned a certificate in outdoor leadership at the University of Oregon. I’m passionate about social and environmental issues and the outdoors, and I seek to make these issues and the outdoors more accessible through outdoor education, science communication and storytelling.

 

Besides telling stories, you can find me participating in one of my many (arguably too many) hobbies such as skiing, rock climbing, backpacking and more. I also enjoy spending time with my cat Rhyolite, crafting, reading and writing prose in my notes app when I’m not climbing mountains!
